Hello flower friends, I'm Melinda, the owner and lead artist of M creations. I pour creativity into every arrangement—whether it’s custom event florals or weekly subscriptions. Flowers bring joy to life’s moments, and I’m honored to share that with you!

Since 2009, I’ve blended my artistic passion and love of people with floral design. Relocating my shop to a greenhouse-style barn next to my home, allowed me to focus on family while sharing my craft. I’ve built a business rooted in community, creativity, and the joy of flowers.

Come join us for a “self-care” workshop beginning with Postural Breath & Alignment with CT Fit, followed by a fall floral workshop with M Creations.

This restorative class blends gentle movement with Postural Restoration Insititute (PRI) principles to help you realign your body and regulate your nervous system. Through guided breathwork and mindful positioning, you’ll learn how to balance your posture, release tension, and create a sense of grounded calm. Ideal for anyone looking to reset, improve body awareness and leave feeling centered in both body and mind.
The floral workshop will follow. You will be provided with everything needed to create a beautiful fall floral arrangement to take home and enjoy.

These past two weekends were crazy busy for us. We created florals for 8 different events, sponsored and attended @bonfirestorytellingchico , managed to celebrate our dear friend’s birthday and worked soooo many hours. When people say “I hope to retire one day and play with flowers…” we know they aren’t talking about events, but we will just keep those “life a florist/showgirl secrets” to ourselves. For $112 you get a gorgeous handmade vase (the medium sphere with either stone or matte white glaze), fresh flowers and foliage to design with and our “floraling how tos”. Inspiration comes from all different places. For this arrangement, it started with this gorgeous vase made by my friend Alex. Then I grabbed some beautiful flowers grown by my friend Kimberly, including these moody sunflowers and bright black eye Susan and finally I finished it with some show stopping amaranth out of my garden and a few things from my fridge. Even though im finding it hard to find inspiration of late with all the heaviness happening around us.
